The Question of Whether or Not to Rent Furniture For a Property
To buy furniture for a rental property, or to rent it is an age old question. Mainly it arises when the owner of the property is in limbo, uncertain if they will sell or hold on to it as a rental place. The idea of springing for furniture fells like a punch to the stomach, and getting anything descent brings up other issues. These include whether renters will damage good quality pieces, so they should be avoided, and whether low budget furniture will diminish the appearance of the space, and thus lower the rental amount.
Ahhh, so much to ponder, that is until you conclude that renting furniture is the way to go. Once you are in agreement that what works best is quality furniture that is hired out, you have lessened your burden in many valuable ways. For one, you no longer have to worry about going out and finding the sofa, bed, table and chairs. Second, you have eliminated any future issues of what to do with furniture you bought if you get an offer and want to sell the place. It is a good feeling to just rely upon a company to provide the furniture, and take it away when it is no longer required. But, you have to come to that decision in your own time.
